GALA Yuzawa Snow Resort is the only snow resort in the world with its very own Shinkansen station and can be accessed from Tokyo as fast as 74 minutes. During the winter season we receive over 300,000 customers of which 80,000 are from countries other then Japan. Many people from all over the world come to Gala Yuzawa to enjoy skiing/snowboarding and also our snow activities!

People from all over Japan and the globe also come to Gala to make friends, have fun while working and try to make the best of our customers days. At Gala you can enjoy our gondola and chair lifts for free so during your days off or if you have a long break you can head out on to the snow to enjoying skiing and snowboarding! Language Requirements

Conversational to intermediate Japanese speaking skills (N1-N3 level equivalent)

Positions

We are looking for friendly and hardworking people to help us in the following positions:

• Rental staff - Reception, Maintenance, tune-up

• Information and Concierge staff - Ticketing, attendant

• Hot spring/Spa staff - Reception, cashier

• Gondola and lift staff - Attendant, Tour guide, activity guide, attendant, Interpreter

Work Information

Work Location:

Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort, Niigata prefecture

Employment period:

December 2023 – early May 2024 (dependent on department)

Working hours:

Within 8 hours a day/ within 40 hours a week

* Overtime rates are applied according to the Labour Standards Act of Japan

Holidays:

4-6 days off a Month

Extra wage compensation may be available depending on your Japanese language level
