Garden Cress is a family owned lodge located within the Iwappara ski area in Yuzawa town, offering ski-in ski-out access to the slopes. Other ski resorts in Yuzawa are close-by. Even though it is located within the ski area, getting there is not a problem. Rooms have a bright and clean atmosphere, with high-quality duvets and heating. Each guest room has a private bath and toilet. Garden Cress also has a bar lounge and a karaoke room. The dining room is used for breakfast and evening meals. This room is also open for lunch and tea-time during the day. In the evenings, home-made pizza is a speciality and and cakes are specialities which can be ordered as room service.

Gardnen Cress has a total of 14 comfortable guest rooms. There are 11 Western style rooms and 3 Japanese style rooms with tatami mats. The total capacity of the accommodation is 48 guests. All rooms feature either views of the slopes of Iwappara or the Tanigawa mountain range to the south.
