22cm of snow outside my place here this morning so that means that and more on the mountain for a very welcome decent refresh.

It's a cold morning and there's just a light sprinkling of snow to report. Lots of cloud but also some sunshine this morning.

Fairly cold this morning with a moderate wind and a dusting of snow on the slopes I would imagine - just 1cm here at base - but it is still snowing.

Good morning from a snowy Zao where it has been coming down at quite the rate at times this morning.

Fine weather conditions yesterday making for some beautiful scenery and some fine looking ice monsters, even if they may generally be smaller than usual.

Morning from Zao Onsen, and it's a really cold one - possibly the coldest morning of the season, certainly one of them.

It's snowing again this morning. 5cm on the ground around my base area here and more falling as I write this.

It is not as cold this morning with temperature currently -2C here in the village... and we're back to rather limited visibility on the mountain especially higher up.

It seems a while since we got sunny blue skies over us here in Zao - but it's one of those mornings today.

More snow! It was good to see the forecast right with some heavy snow last night and close to 18cm of fresh falling here at base and certainly more than that up on the mountain.
