I have another 12cm to add to my reports on this cold morning, with the ski areas (that report) reporting 20-25cm of fresh snow on the mountain.

It is a cold and beautiful morning.

I love it when I can report over 20cm of snowfall. Like today. And great to see talk of 30-40cm on mountain too.

After some varied weather conditions yesterday, there was slightly over 4cm of fine quality snow at my measuring point this morning.

I am happy to report that it is snowing rather nicely at the moment, and I have another 9cm to add since yesterday.

Moderate snowfall as I write this, but looking at webcams it seems varied depending on where you are. So experiences may differ.

Early on it is cloudy with some blue sky and the sun peeking through at times. Nice and cold and all scheduled lifts are starting the day as planned.

I am happy to report improved conditions this morning.

It is a fine morning with some cloud, blue sky and some atmospheric views of the sun by Mt Yotei.

Here we are on a fine Christmas day.

It is snowing this morning and I have another 14cm to report.

This morning, and since yesterday, I have measured a further 11cm of snowfall. It is snowing as I write this, and some nice big fluffy looking flakes too.

Just about 4cm of snowfall to report to you this morning with most of that coming overnight.
