I am very happy to be able to report more fresh snow this morning. Not massive numbers, for sure, but jolly nice quality.

I have measured a further 7cm of snowfall since my last report.

Happy Chinese New Year! To celebrate, we do have some fresh snow this morning.

It's clear and sunny.

It has been an overcast shades-of-grey kind of early morning, but there are some signs of the sun and some blue sky away from the mountain.

I have just over 1cm of snowfall to report to you this morning. (I'll keep the extra mm in hand for another future report when it's 'just under').

I'm a bit early today and we have some general limited visibility in places early on.

I was out having a stroll with some friends near the base of Hanazono yesterday evening around 5pm.

It is a cold and snowy morning here - nice big flakes again at the moment - with generally limited visibility.

I was not able to be up there myself yesterday, but the official site was showing the (non-Annupuri) top lifts moving late morning, but then back closed around lunchtime.

I am happy to be able to report 13cm of lovely fresh snowfall this cold morning, arriving during the daytime yesterday and some more overnight.

Just under 2cm of fresh to report today, so just a thin layer over what will probably be some rather hard conditions.

I have just several cm of snowfall to report this morning, with Hirafu (ski area) reporting up to 15cm on the mountain.

Lifts were disrupted yesterday with some pesky strong winds blowing around, but some good snowfall too.
