Some real blustery conditions yesterday with snow falling as well but curiously we haven't ended up with more than a thin layer down here in Hirafu.

A lovely day again yesterday, clouds overnight and just a thin layer of new snow this morning - about 1cm or so.

Yesterday I said in the report that we were expecting rain/sleet later in the day. We got that, and more.

Less than 1cm of snowfall to report this morning, just a thin dusting really with the temperature around 0 degrees at the moment.

Another few cm of snow this morning on the ground here in Hirafu - so hopefully/probably more than that on the mountain - and it is a fairly mild morning with temps just under zero.
