New snow until the end! 2cm of snow is being reported by the resort this morning and light snow falling.

Lovely conditions again this morning at Madarao. Just a bit of new snowfall - resort reporting 5-10cm - and lovely clear blue skies.

It's a cold morning down to about -2 and light snow has been falling this morning. Just a dusting of snow really, but always welcome.

We're back to clearer skies and warming up today.

Yesterday was spring. This morning, more like winter again.

Welcome to a mid week holiday here in Japan.

It was windy for pretty much all of yesterday and the resort did manage to open some lifts up, but never got fully going.

I have to post an early report today..... it is a very windy morning here in Madarao and while it's still early the resort is on hold and not going to open any lifts until things calm down.

Oh dear, I don't know what to say this morning... more of the same (again!) as spring grabs hold of March tightly.

And it was a fine day.

Evenings (mostly) continue to get down cold and it was cold overnight again, and now about -5 degrees.

Rain it was. But how about this.... 15cm of new snow being reported by the resort this morning. More like 5-10cm here where I am but good to hear that we can get a nice new layer out on the slopes.

It's a much warmer start to the day here, already around +8 degrees.

And up it is this morning. Or it will be anyway once the sun takes control of proceedings.
