Nature is being very kind to the region at the moment. The news this morning is the dumping of half a metre of snow on us with (quite a lot more due) to come today and tomorrow.

It's another good one with a good layer of fresh snow, more falling and more on the way over the weekend.

I must admit I was expecting more, but just another 5cm of snow to report this morning. And this morning the snow clouds are still with us.

It is a good one with a lot to look forward to as well.

I'm measuring 5cm of fresh snowfall this morning; the resort itself is reporting 5-10cm on the slopes.

A bit of fresh snow on the ground this morning but not much to see as there has been thick fog around.

Strong winds caused a few issues yesterday (in particular the Number 13 lift) but it was all in the name of fresh snow.

Snow storm conditions here this morning with snow falling and a strong wind blowing about too.

Clearer skies this morning though there is some cloud up there - a mix of white and grey. It feels calm outside my place here now, but my patrol friend tells me that there's a southerly wind this morning.

The resort is reporting 10cm and I measure 7cm outside my place with the snow continuing to fall now, with more forecast on and off over the next few days. All good, keep on falling please.

I hope some of you were able to get out and enjoy the conditions yesterday. I enjoyed a good part of the day out there with snow continuing to fall in the day before easing off.

Yesterday the snowy conditions continued during the day time giving us just over 10cm of fresh snowfall. It was fun out there!

With associated wind overnight blowing it all around it is one of those days when you ask 5 different people in slightly different areas and they'll all give you a different number.
