We are still a way off opening (planned for 18th December) but we have a sprinkling of snow on the mountain that I wanted to share.

Here we are in the last week of November 2021. After a hot summer and (still) beautiful autumn, winter is now just around the corner.

It's Sunday 4th April and the last day of the 2020-2021 winter season here in Madarao.

It looks kind of funky out there this morning with a weird haze looming over us. Not as much as yesterday.

It is looking like today will be a drier and more all round pleasant day today. We even have a very modest thin layer of snow and the trees are looking lovely and frosty, and it feels quite chilly too.

Super early report required today, so this is pre-official information being updated.

Don't know why but the report that I wrote this morning didn't appear. Probably my mistake, but anyway this is a re-write. Sorry about that.

It's a beautiful start to the day with clear blue skies. With just a month left in the season and the clock ticking, I feel the need to make the most of it.

Low visibility again early on this morning, but we are expecting things to be clearer as the morning progresses.

The clear skies of the early morning didn't last but visibility remained fairly decent for the most part and there is a bit more snow to report (though the ski areas is posting a 0cm).

Snow - really decent amount of it too - and now blue skies over our mountain. Beautiful! (I thought we were due light snow today... this may not last)

And after all that clearer and warmer weather, it is colder and we have a bit of snow on the ground. Not a huge amount but it's there and hopefully we will have some more to report by tomorrow.

Whoohoo! The sun us out and there's nice blue skies above the mountain (some cloud). It's a cold start and there's fresh snow to play in. It should be a fine day to be out there.
