It's really snowing hard as I write this. Coming down fast and visibility is suitably poor too because of it. Cold too. Care really needed in these conditions.

It's a mostly cloudy start this morning with snow easing off. There are some breaks in the cloud over on the Tangram side of the mountain as I write this.

Morning from Nagano. Yes, I'm away from Madarao just now, but had a call with my friend over there and official sources to get the info.

It's still snowing and visibility is limited but it should be easing off during the day. Then more snow later tomorrow and beyond.

The sun is out this morning after what looks like a bit more snow overnight. Yes, there is some cloud around still but it's a fine feel good morning and nice and cold too.

Limited visibility early on at Madarao but better over on the Tangram side (where there's even a bit of clearing in the clouds).

The forecasts are showing a week of regular snow (on and off) too, so we should be getting regular resets.

I have just measured 20cm of snowfall which is a bit more than what the ski area is reporting today (15cm), and it is still snowing now though perhaps not much today... more due tonight and into the day tomorrow.

I have just over 10cm to report this morning, with the ski area itself reporting 10cm as of 8am. Limited visibility early on as the snow continues to fall.

It's a little colder this morning, and it is snowing. We're not expecting huge amounts for the moment, but it should be snowing for the day today.

After all that snow.... the sun is out early this morning! It's a cold start with blue skies. The mountain is looking beautiful and very tempting.

Some of the tree run courses are closed this morning due to the heavy snowfall and risk of avalanche. There's a lot of snow out there.

Snow has started early this morning and it has started to come down nicely now. As such visibility is limited.
