We had some blue sky earlier on but that has been covered by cloud at the moment and light snow is falling.

It is going to be a lovely morning. That's what forecasts say, and that's what it feels like too.

The ski area is reporting 5cm of fresh snowfall this morning (since yesterday). I have measured 12cm at my measuring point since my last report.

We had some glimpses of sun yesterday morning but snow started piling up again around lunchtime and I have measured 17cm since then.

The much less exciting weather of last night (I've already forgotten it) has changed into almost 30cm of snowfall by this morning!

About another 10cm from later in the day yesterday to add to the ongoing snowfall numbers!

Good morning from Madarao and, wow, another 35-40cm of fresh snowfall since the report yesterday morning.

Well, yesterday it started snowing before lunch and it quickly started to accumulate and I have measured another 22cm. Nice.

It has been a cold start but the sun is out and shining through my window. Blue sky with some cloud. A beautiful morning to be out on the slopes.

Cloud around for much of yesterday though some spells of clearer skies and even a bit of sun.

Quick one this morning I need to rush off to Nagano city. Handful and a bit more of cm of new snow with a mostly cloudy kind of morning but more snow expected.
