It is a beautiful morning with the sun hitting the upper part of the resort and giving the mountain an orange hue.

There was just a light dusting of new snow overnight but the trickle has continued and the total build up in the village is 3cm.

Very fine snow is falling at the moment and there is 3cm so far in the village.

Furano has been blasted by strong winds overnight and they are still gusting around the village.

Temperatures are once again very cold as was expected.
