And good news this morning with 9cm of fresh snow on the ground outside my place near the base of Hirafu. It's cold too. Yey.

Just a slight snowfall to report this morning along with colder conditions as well which is good.

It was all a little too warm yesterday and unfortunately we had to endure a bit of rain in the afternoon yesterday and, it appears, overnight.

And wow, after the snow clouds clearing yesterday to give us a clear evening, it is a lovely morning.

The morning a similar amount of snow on the ground and another cold morning.

I enjoyed some very fine conditions yesterday.

Yey! There's more fresh snow this morning with another good 15cm on the ground. It's cold and the snow looks nice and dry.

There's a decent 16cm of fresh snow on the ground this morning here at base; with most of that coming overnight.

Things are much improved this morning.

Yesterday it was something of a surprise to see the snow continuing to fall, wasn't quite expecting that and the clear up didn't really happen.
