Close but not quite! As you can see below due to weather yesterday the snow has come down fairly close to base areas. The top Chuo cam appears to be out of action and so can't see what is going on up there.

From what can be seen here it is mostly cloudy with a few small patches of blue sky

I wouldn't expect much/any in the coming days but I'll let you know when we get some.

Zao Onsen ski area hopes to be able to open early December.
