After the lovely morning yesterday, conditions gradually turned into what we have now... a blizzard!
15-20cm of snow in the village area, very likely a fair bit more up top, cold temperature of -7C, and a strong wind blowing. Temperature of -15 recorded at the top station early this morning. More importantly the wind is affecting some lifts most notably the top Ropeway and Utopia No1 and No2 pair lifts. So for now the top is closed.
Visibility isn't too bad at all actually at the moment - I can almost see the top of the mountain from base, but it's all white/grey and snow continues to fall.
We might see snow showers continue into tomorrow, but while it might still be windy at least it looks like the wind should be less strong...
