Morning from Zao Onsen.


It's a pretty cold morning with snow falling and something of a northwesterly wind and limited visibility on the mountain. (Better in lower areas).


Having said that, there is also some hints of blue sky at times (though for now they are not lasting).


Clearer skies are coming from Sunday along with some milder temps in the coming week.


The ski area is reporting 10cm of snowfall on the mountain.


Official snow depth (reported by ski area):

Yokokura area: 95cm

Uwanodai area: 150cm

Utopia area: 260cm

Chuo area: 250cm

Paradise area: 250cm

Summit area: 255cm
