Good morning from Zao.
Yesterday was busy, busy out there and we can expect more of that today on this long January weekend.
A bit more snow to report and everywhere expected to be open today to satisfy the crowds.
As with other regions of Japan, it seems tomorrow is going to be unseasonably mild and might well bring with it... rain. But beyond that - and hopefully quickly - snow is due on Tuesday and Wednesday. We'll have to see how that turns out.
Tomorrow is the last day of the long weekend of course, so expect things to quieten down a bit from the afternoon.
