Morning from a cold Zao.


A couple of flurries yesterday around 4pm. Just a dusting for the most part, but more snow overnight and light snow continuing now.


Limited visibility and some wind too making for some mid-winter conditions.


Early on the top section of the Zao Ropeway is on hold. Other lifts might be affected.


More of the same conditions are forecast for the coming days.


Official snow depth (reported by ski area):

Yokokura area: 90cm

Uwanodai area: 130cm

Utopia area: 210cm

Chuo area: 200cm

Paradise area: 200cm

Summit area: 195cm


Night skiing:

Night skiing is planned in the Uwanodai area daily until 24th February (and then 1st/2nd March).
