Good morning from Zao.


It has been a cold start with a lot of ice patches on the road and trees are looking good with the snow on them.


Lots of cloud early on but they may start clearing.


The first few days of March are looking to be interesting though with the chance of some consistent snowfall over several days.


Ski area operations:

Night skiing has now finished for the season


Official snow depth (reported by ski area):

Yokokura area: 50cm

Uwanodai area: 65cm

Utopia area: 120cm

Chuo area: 120cm

Paradise area: 120cm

Summit area: 140cm
