Good morning from Zao.
Some slight snowfall earlier this morning so trees have a nice frosting, but the main roads are generally dry by now. There is a lot of fast moving cloud around but also quite a bit of blue sky and the sun is increasingly shining through. Perhaps we will get a fair bit of sunshine over the next few days. It's about +1C at the moment and should remain quite chilly. A warming up is forecast for tomorrow and more so on Wednesday.
Bit windy which was preventing some upper lifts from opening at the start of the day. No update on that situation on the official site right now (unchanged). There should be less of that tomorrow and Wednesday.
Official snow depth
Summit: 165cm
Paradise: 210cm
Chuo: 210cm
Utopia: 230cm
Uwanodai: 160cm
