The snow isn't giving up just yet it seems! A few cm yesterday morning and while no new snow this morning it is keeping cold. Just a light wind and cloud this morning in Zao.

Even so, we're really getting short on supply of snow now even on the top course of the mountain which is now bare in places. There's no skiing or boarding down to base, and you need to get the ropeway lifts down. It's all getting very limited now. Can it last until May 6th?!

At the same time, quite busy with Golden Week tourists as well as the skiers and snowboarders.

The following lifts plan to remain open through until 6th May:

All the Ropeways

Chuo Number 1 Pair AB (every day)

Utopia Number 2 Pair

Chuo Number 2 Pair AB (27th April until 6th May)

Katakai Triple (27th-29th April, 3rd-6th May)

Paradise Pair AB (27th April until 6th May)
