Good morning from Zao.
Light snow falling at the moment and the ski area ready and open on this first day of a long weekend (Monday is a national holiday).
We expect light snow over the next few days.
Milder conditions are due from around Tuesday onwards.
Official snow depth (reported by ski area):
Yokokura area: 115cm
Uwanodai area: 160cm
Utopia area: 280cm
Chuo area: 250cm
Paradise area: 250cm
Summit area: 265cm
Night skiing:
Night skiing is planned in the Uwanodai area daily until 24th February (and then 1st/2nd March).
