New snowfall at base 3cm
Snowfall at base this season 3cm

Posted on Wednesday 20th November 2019 This is an archived report. The latest Zao Now report can be found here.

Welcome back and a very good morning to you from Zao.

And this morning we celebrate the first snow on the ground down here in the village areas. I have just been out and measured 3cm.

I wonder how much there is up on the top of the mountain.

It feels cold out.

Conditions look set to calm down from tomorrow and then warm up somewhat over the coming weekend so this snow will very likely be disappearing and there won't be any ski lifts able to move this weekend.

The resort is on stand-by, waiting for snow.
