The sun is out and the sky continues blue out the faint haze over the peaks. This seems to contradict the forecast which suggests cloud and modest snowfall later in the day. This could of course happen as the forecast has been impressively accurate, so, enjoy the morning sun.
Note that there are large ski schools about, mostly on lower Uwanodai so stay away from Jupeer if you're considering lunch there.

All areas and lifts appear to be opening as planned.
