Morning from Zao.
Just here to report 1cm of fresh snowfall earlier this morning with snow forecast today and tomorrow.
A bit of village news I haven't yet mentioned. The 'Family Mart' convenience store closed on 31st October. That will probably come as a bit of a shock to lots of folk. That left Zao Onsen without a convenience store, but not for long... a 'Lawson' convenience store will be opening up just across the road nearby on 7th December. They are busy-busy getting that sorted right now. So we will be 'with convenience store' once again, for all your onigiri rice-ball needs!
