A big day yesterday with lots of wind and a nice delivery of powder snow.


The ski area itself is reporting up to 50cm of fresh snowfall and the official snow depth numbers have seen some large increases today. There are varying amounts around depending on where you look and how wind affected it is.


Today has started overcast, but there are some gaps in the cloudy appearing. Feels like we might get some sun!


Moderate wind but lifts are moving as planned.


Monday is a national holiday. It will be a busy weekend, and there looks set to be some sun forecast, particularly around Sunday and Monday.


Official snow depth (reported by ski area):

Yokokura area: 90cm

Uwanodai area: 80cm

Utopia area: 190cm

Chuo area: 170cm

Paradise area: 190cm

Summit area: 145cm
