Good morning from Yuzawa.
It has actually been quite chilly overnight and this morning, with Kagura reporting 2C as of 7am.
After a few days of wet, generally grey and unfriendly weather conditions and poor visibility, today should be much nicer. There is a fair amount of thin cloud around early morning but some blue too and it is quite bright. We can probably expect more sun and gradually clearer skies during the day, warming up to around 20C in town later this afternoon.
Tomorrow should be fine and sunny too.
Kagura is back open this morning, via the Mitsumata Ropeway (which is now open from 8am on weekdays). You now need to do some walking on the way over to Kagura and also on the way back to Mitsumata. See below for details. Good exercise!
Note that the Kagura Park facility is scheduled to be closed today for maintenance.

The Mitsumata lifts are used to get to and back from the main Kagura area that is still open. Walking is now required both getting to and coming back from Kagura.
From Mitsumata to Kagura: A 230m walk from top of Ropeway to the Mitsumata quad and then a 170m walk to the top of Mitsumata Number 2 pair.
From Kagura to Mitsumata: A 170m walk to top of Mitsumata quad and then a 230m walk to the top of Mitsumata Ropeway.
