No new snow to report this morning.
Yesterday the sun stayed out for pretty much all day, some clouds gathering as the day progressed. But generally a really lovely day, and though it did warm up slightly and there was the sound of dripping melting snow, it didn't get too warm.
This morning it wasn't snowing but just now I have just speaking with my colleague in Minamiuonuma where it has just started snowing in the last 10 minutes. Looks like it's coming south and the bit of sunshine that we have had this morning will be replaced by snow soon. Bit wetter compared to the mid-season snow we got over the weekend. Will be interesting to see how much we get on the ground today, not a huge amount expected.
It has been on the news to look for heavy snow at the weekend again though, starting around Friday.
