There's no new snow on the ground this morning, though it did continue snowing past my report yesterday morning so that is where the 1cm is coming from in the report today.
We start the day today with cloudy skies.
I need to post my report early today, which unfortunately means that much of the ski resort information below has not been updated (as it is not yet available!)
The main news I can find at this early hour is that GALA Yuzawa will not be open today - apparently due to windy conditions due today.
Kagura appears to be planning on opening as normal, as are other resorts.
It is going to be a (very) mild day today but perhaps we can survive without getting rained on until late tonight or early tomorrow morning. But rain seems inevitable and possibly heavy rain at times too along with a borderline 'warm' night tonight. Temperatures are going to gradually increase during the day into tonight with up to +10C temps due tonight on some local forecasts!
Hopefully we'll be getting back down to more winter-like conditions and snow from Wednesday.
I will of course update you tomorrow morning with the latest.
