Good morning from Yuzawa.

It was good to see some sunshine yesterday. It was bright and kind of hazy.

This morning is very mild, generally cloudy and there's a southerly wind. Unfortunately, that wind is preventing GALA Yuzawa and the Tashiro Area of Kagura from opening today. Today was of course supposed to be the last day of the season for both of those areas, so that presumably means that they effectively finished up for 20-21 at the end of yesterday. Disappointing, but a bit otsukaresama deshita to everyone involved.

The top lift at Kagura is also on hold this morning and there is a chance that more might be affected.

Kagura plans to remain open until Sunday 23rd May. There will be a Yuzawa Now report tomorrow and then updates from time to time until Kagura closes.
