New snowfall at base 12cm

Snowfall for most of the day yesterday, apart from a period of clearer skies and a bit of sunshine. But fresh snow on the ground. I am measuring 12cm of since my report yesterday and here is what I am finding from around the resorts:
Kagura (Main): 20cm
Kagura (Mitsumata): 5cm
Kagura (Tashiro): 20cm
Maiko Snow Resort: 10cm
This morning the snow has stopped and we are starting the day with cloud cover. Nearby regions are enjoying some clearer skies, so perhaps we will get some of that later on in the day.
The snow might be back tomorrow though the forecasts don't tell us to expect too much.
Temperatures are due to get a little higher on Monday and right now there's rain on the forecast. Not good, let's hope that doesn't happen.
Before then though, we have got lots of fresh snowfall over the last few days and it should be very nice conditions out there for the upcoming weekend. Hope you can be here to enjoy it.
Monday is a national holiday in Japan; it is likely going to be a very popular weekend. Early start recommended!
