We got rained on in town last night but that thankfully turned into snow overnight. There is a fresh (thin) layer of snow on the ground around town areas.
Kagura are this morning reporting 15cm of fresh snow and a temperature of -5C.
There is still a lot of cloud around but it will probably start to clear and we may end up with a bright day.
The coming week brings with it mild conditions and not much chance of fresh snow - except perhaps in the much higher areas, at the times when it will probably be raining down in town. There should be a few days of clearer weather too but generally temperatures will remain mild.
