Some cloud around but blue sky as well and the sun is out as I write this report.
Mild overnight and only just dipping below 10 degrees down in town here, with a high of about 15 degrees forecast for later in the afternoon today.
Things still set to start changing from tomorrow. Rain likely but by Tuesday morning it should be snowing in higher areas at least. Kagura is looking forward to the prospect of daily fresh snow up there Tuesday onwards, so hopefully by next weekend the season might be able to kick into action more.

Resorts currently open:
Kagura:
A 600m run at the main Kagura area is open, access via Mitsumata Ropeway.
A shuttle bus takes people from the top of the Ropeway to the base of the Kagura Gondola, which then takes them up to the base of the main Kagura area.
The Kagura Number 1 Romance pair lift is operating to service the open course.
