A dusting of snow on some higher mountains areas overnight, though none down to town level and as we approach 10am it is just cloudy here in Yuzawa after a spell of sleet and light snow falling. The local forecast still insists that we might be seeing the sun later on this afternoon so perhaps it is going to clear up. For now though upper slopes at lots of the resorts around town are covered in cloud with fairly poor visibility.

Tomorrow it's cloud and a chance of rain.

Last day of the season for a few of the small resorts around Yuzawa and Minamiuonuma tomorrow including Hakkaisan, Muikamachi Ski Resort, Mt Granview and Chateaux Shiozawa.
