Good morning from Yuzawa.
The first few hours of this morning we enjoyed totally clear blue skies above Yuzawa.
The mountains were looking truly spectacular. Check out the photo from Maiko at the start of the day, below. (The other two photos are from mid-morning).
By mid-morning some clouds had started to form and there is quite a lot of cloud around now. And we are due some snow from this afternoon again. The Niigata Prefecture forecast shows 'up to 5cm' of snow by 3pm today. That might not happen, but it's still amazing how quickly things can change sometimes!
So, yes, we are due some more snow later and overnight into tomorrow.
