There was snow on and off during yesterday and this morning the snow is still falling, and 17cm has just been measured since yesterday morning in town. The week ahead should be bringing us regular snow with some clearing of the clouds in between. Perhaps the best chance of some heavy dumpage is around Tuesday night.
The Ropeway connecting GALA Yuzawa and Yuzawa Kogen is now open. All ski areas in the area are opening as planned this morning.
The popular ones were quite busy yesterday. Just an observation from a few people - perhaps less groups in buses and families with young children than usual.
