It was raining quite heavily last night and... it still is. A rather wet morning here in Yuzawa.
But! It's still keeping cold and I see that Kagura have reported 2cm of fresh snowfall overnight. The forecast for the day up there is light rain/snow, hopefully the latter. Sleet is being reported by GALA Yuzawa as well this morning. One thing's for sure and that is it doesn't feel like normal weather for early May.
Tomorrow should be more settled and a bit warmer and more of the same through Monday.
Kandatsu Kogen were initially hoping to open until 6th May for the last 4 days of the Golden Week period but they have not been able to remain open with the snow disappearing... so no more Kandatsu this season. We are left with Kagura and GALA Yuzawa for the next four days until Monday, after which it will be just Kagura via Mitsumata remaining open.
