New snowfall at base 7cm
Snowfall at base this seas 58cm

Posted on Thursday 2nd January 2020 This is an archived report. The latest Yuzawa Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Yuzawa.

We have another modest amount of snowfall this morning.

This morning Kagura are reporting 20cm of fresh snowfall. Maiko Snow Resort are reporting 15cm of fresh up top.

Down in town it's more like another 5+cm, with a bit more in places. But it is snowing now and hopefully we will get a gradual build up through today. The forecast is still showing regular snowfall over the coming week with perhaps the most potential for some heavy snowfall around tomorrow night through Sunday. Let's see what Nature decides to do.

Winter fireworks at GALA Yuzawa after 5:30pm this evening.
