Posted on Friday 2nd April 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Yuzawa Now report can be found here.

We have clear skies above Yuzawa and Minamiuonuma again this morning and the sun is out. We might have more cloud later on but generally sunny and warm conditions forecast through the end of tomorrow. High temperatures around 15C, maybe rising above that tomorrow.

Sunday looks set to be more cloudy, bringing with it the chance of some rain later in the day. Let's hope we can avoid that.

This weekend is the last weekend of the season for Yuzawa Nakazato, Ishiuchi Maruyama and Maiko Snow Resort - and also the smaller Ipponsugi and Nakazato Snow Wood.

From Monday our choice for skiing and snowboarding will be down to Kagura, Naeba, GALA Yuzawa and Kandatsu.

-----

Lots of farmers are busy now with diggers breaking up the snow as they want to get to their fields.

We might not have had much snow since March and some warm conditions, but there's still snow on most of those rice fields.
