Snowfall at base this seas 423cm

Good morning from Yuzawa.

OK, so just to recap.

It was 22.8C a few days ago here.

Heavy rain last night.

And this morning, there's 10-15cm of fresh snowfall on the ground in town and the Kagura resort is reporting 25cm.

And Maiko Snow Resort are reporting 35cm of fresh snow.

Maiko, of course, brought their closing date forward by a week to today. It's interesting to note that they have not mentioned that today is their last day on their update this morning (...might they rethinking again...?)

Hold on. Incoming. Kandatsu Snow Resort have once again changed their planned closing date. No, not to extend it. This time, they are pulling back from 5th April to Tuesday 31st March.

I think I've got that right. I'll update you again if they change their mind again tomorrow. ;)

Phew.

What a season this has been...

It's still snowing by the way. Should ease off sometime this morning. Hardly any wind.
