Good morning from Yuzawa.
We got some more snow yesterday - some rain too, and some thunder too at times.
As of 3pm yesterday Kagura were reporting 30-40cm of snow since the previous day. They also said that they will be making an announcement as to whether they can open tomorrow (Monday) later on today. We will update this report later today if Kagura is going to open tomorrow.
For now the snow has eased off. There was even a little sunshine just a short while ago, but that was soon to be covered by cloud again.
Over the next few days we should expect temperatures to rise somewhat - the snow around town will probably disappear (very normal). The next snow is probably due at the end of the week, maybe some on the mountains around Wednesday.
4pm update:
Kagura will open tomorrow!
4,000m of course will be available from Kagura back down to Mitsumata, all accessible via Mitsumata of course. They are reporting 80cm of snow at Kagura and 40cm at Mitsumata.
It will probably be fine and sunny too.
