Good morning from Yuzawa.
It was snow and mid-winter conditions through the day yesterday once again and light snow was falling when I got up earlier on this morning... but it has eased off now and is just cloudy with signs of a possible clear up.
Here is how much snow is being reported from around the ski resorts:
Kagura (main): 10cm
Kagura (Mitsumata): 0cm (?!)
Kagura (Tashiro): 10cm
Maiko Snow Resort: 10-15cm
Ishiuchi Maruyama: 20cm
I have moved 16cm of snow off my measuring point since the report yesterday morning (most of that when I cleared it yesterday evening).
So right now it is generally cloudy but like I said there are signs that the cloud might break and we may be treated to some clearer skies.
With all the snow over the last few days, conditions should be excellent this morning - wherever you choose to ski or board.
We might actually get some more snow tomorrow too.
It does look like in the coming week temperatures won't be quite as low as they have been.
