Good morning from Yuzawa.
We have snow!
It was raining last night but this morning we wake up to a blanket of snow on the ground. I just measured 12cm.
The snow is still falling but it isn't expected to last long and sunny skies are due tomorrow and Monday.
I wonder how much Kagura got? It's too early in the morning to hear anything from them, but we'll check later on today to see if there is anything to report before the scheduled report tomorrow.
Evening update:
Kagura is reporting 30cm of snow, and there is apparently enough for some Mitsumata runs to be open from tomorrow morning (Sunday 26th November).
Here's what is planned to be open:
Mitsumata Family course (1100m)
Mitsumata Taikai (800m)
Gondola Line (644m)
Sunshine (266m)
The Mitsumata Number 1 quad and Number 2 pair lift will be operating (as well as Mitsumata Ropeway, of course).
We're expecting fine weather tomorrow and Monday.
