Posted on Friday 24th March 2023 This is an archived report. The latest Yuzawa Now report can be found here.

Strong winds persisted during the morning yesterday and into the afternoon, with things getting calmer by evening. Some spots of rain as well, but as far as this reporter could see, not much.

This morning it is cloudy, foggy and a bit wet. Hopefully it won't rain too much, and it looks like there might be a chance of some sun tomorrow.

NASPA Ski Garden was planning on being open until Sunday 2nd April. Yesterday they announced that their last day of the season will actually be on Sunday 26th March. With a lot of snow melt going on recently, there may well be similar news coming in from other ski areas in the coming days. Various lower runs around town are now starting to struggle to remain open.

Having said that, higher areas are still doing ok.
