Snowfall at base this seas 1338cm

Posted on Wednesday 23rd March 2022 This is an archived report. The latest Yuzawa Now report can be found here.

At one point yesterday morning it was actually snowing quite heavily. That didn't last long but it did leave us with about 2cm of snow, which has mostly disappeared not too long after. There is no more fresh snow being reported overnight from any of the ski areas.

This morning is bright and sunny with thin high cloud. A high of about +6C is expected today in town with similar conditions tomorrow.

In ski area news, due to avalanche danger, the Takenokoyama, Prince Number 1 gondola and Number 4 high speed lifts at Naeba are now closed for the season.
