Independent snow and weather reporting from the Yuzawa & Minamiuonuma region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 15cm
Snowfall at base this season 96cm

Posted on Sunday 22nd December 2013 This is an archived report. The latest Yuzawa Now report can be found here.

Snow has arrived in Yuzawa again with about 10-15cm on lower slopes of resorts from Naeba to Maiko being reported, with Kagura this morning saying they got 40cm overnight. Sounds good to me that.

A moderate wind with us this morning but it does not seem to be affecting lift operations.

More snow forecast tomorrow as well. Bring it on, I say!
