There was more snow during the day yesterday, but, again, it didn't amount to much in terms of new cm. I'm happy to report that there has been a fair bit overnight though.
Ishiuchi Maruyama and Maiko are both reporting 20cm since last night and Hakkaisan is reporting 15cm.
We have just measured 24cm (since yesterday) for this mornings town base report.
It feels like the weather is changing before our eyes this morning. There has been lots of cloud around early morning but there are breaks in the cloud, with increasing blue sky and sun too. More snow is due before the end of the day though, and the forecast is also looking good for regular snow right through into next week. In particular some moderate to heavy snowfall at the weekend.

Yesterday the Kagura Gondola had to stop due to wind and only the parts of that ski area was open.
This morning it looks like the Kagura Gondola is down for the whole day - machine maintenance being the official reason. That means that to get over to Kagura you're going to have to do so via Tashiro.
