It snowed some more overnight, giving us another total of 24cm of fresh snow measured since yesterday morning. Kagura are reporting 40-50cm, Hakkaisan are reporting 30cm and Ishiuchi are reporting 10cm. Maiko don't seem to have a number for us this morning at time of posting.
There's a mix of cloud and some blue sky above the region this morning though forecasts say that snow clouds should persist with some more possibly heavy snow later on tomorrow. So perhaps this morning is a time to enjoy the lull in the snowfall.
All ski areas should be opening as planned this morning. The Tashiro Area of Kagura remains closed.
