Good morning from Yuzawa.
The skies gradually clouded over during the day yesterday after that clear and beautiful start.
This morning Kagura are reporting 10cm of new snowfall and Ishiuchi Maruyama reporting 3cm. Maiko has just reported 10cm, presumably that's up on the top area. There's a few cm in places around town and base areas this morning and it is snowing now, but doesn't feel particularly cold. Just looking now... 0C. We are due snow to continue through the day today and tomorrow, maybe with some heavy snow overnight tonight as it gets colder and should remain colder tomorrow.
The Tashiro Area of Kagura remains closed with no additional news from there to report. Hopefully they will be able to re-open soon. Otherwise ski areas should be opening as planned this morning.
