New snowfall at base 12cm
Snowfall at base this seas 696cm

Posted on Sunday 17th January 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Yuzawa Now report can be found here.

Some snow higher up from mid morning yesterday with rain lower down which thankfully turned into snow later on... and this morning there is a layer of snow on the ground.

Here's how much fresh snowfall ski areas are reporting this morning:

- Kagura: 30cm

- Maiko Snow Resort: 15cm

- Ishiuchi Maruyama: 10cm

12cm has been measured at the measuring point.

It is a cloudy morning and cloud is what we are expecting today, with the chance of some light snow here and there.

Tomorrow currently the forecast is for clearer skies and some sun, and more snow due on Tuesday.
